For each animal (green), attach its picture, choose its number of legs, and make a stack of its traits.

BEE

Bees are flying insects closely related to wasps and ants. It has 6 legs and the painful stings of bees are mostly associated with the poison gland.

A beehive is an enclosed structure in which some honey bee live and raise their young. Honey bees are used to produce honey. Bees are considered edible insects. People in some countries eat bees, mostly stingless species.

They are found on every continent except for Antarctica.

CAT

Cat has 4 legs. It walks on the toe hence, the cat is digitigrade.

To aid with navigation and sensation, cats have dozens of movable whiskers over their body, especially their faces. These provide information on the width of gaps and on the location of objects in the dark, both by touching objects directly and by sensing air currents; they also trigger protective blink reflexes to protect the eyes from damage.

When cats become aggressive, they try to make themselves appear larger and more threatening by raising their fur, arching their backs, turning sideways and hissing or spitting.

Cats have excellent night vision and can see at only one-sixth the light level required for human vision.

DUCK

Ducks are mostly aquatic birds.

SNAIL

Snails feed at night. They feed primarily on decaying organic matter.

The practice of rearing snails for food is known as heliciculture.

Because of its slowness, the snail has traditionally been seen as a symbol of laziness.
